Q: What is a warehouse associate role?
A: Associates will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment (fulfillment centers or delivery stations) that involves working with and around moving machinery.
Associates must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 22 kilograms, stand/walk for up to 9-11 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
Also, they will be operating carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment to move large quantities of merchandise, with or without reasonable accommodation.
In some locations, operating powered industrial equipment (PIT/Forklift) will be required. Climbing and descending stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs), with or without reasonable accommodation and working on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet (applies to buildings with mezzanines) may also be required.
Associates will be held accountable for meeting or exceeding department performance rates once training is completed.
Q: What type of schedules will be available?
A: The building will operate on both overnight and day shifts.
10 hours shift, 9 working hours, 5 days a week. any hours above this module is calculated as overtime.
An example for day shift is: 08:00 am until 06:00 pm.
An example for the night shift is: 07:00 pm until 06:00 am.
Other flexible shifts:
- Part time= 6 hours shift, 5 working hours, 5 days a week. any hours above this module is calculated as overtime
- Range Of Hours (ROH)= Range of hours between 5 – 9 for 5 days a week, where associates hours can extend from 5 to 9 on regular hours and not over time. Anything above 9 hours is overtime.
- Flexi = 10 hours shift, 9 working hours a day, for 3 days a week.
Any shift change should have a gap of 12 hours between end of previous shift and start of next shift where the gap shouldn't fall in the week off. Example: Employee is working a night shift on a Thursday and Friday is his weekly off - he shouldn’t be asked to change his shift on Saturday. Rather, he should be off on Saturday and start his new shift on Sunday.

Associates should be open to working voluntary and mandatory extra hours when needed (overtime). During peak periods, mandatory work schedules could be 50 – 60 hours per week.
